Town Manager

Hello, 

I am Rebecca Hapgood a.k.a. Becky. I was appointed town manager on July 19, 2020. Prior to becoming manager, I was the town clerk for 26 years. I am enjoying the responsibilities of the position, especially working with town officials and assisting residents and visitors. Ever-changing challenges help me learn everyday. 

My motto is "You can't have a good day with a bad attitude, and you can't have a bad day with a good attitude." I'm thankful every day to be able to enjoy my job and the wonderful people of China. I'm am extremely happy and grateful to be a leader in my hometown.
